How to measure your feet

For measing your feet, you’ll need a measuring tape or a ruler, a thick book, a pencil and paper.

  1. Place the paper on the floor, short side touching the wall.
  2. Stand with your heel against the wall.
  3. Place the book in front of your foot so that it’s touching your big toe or the longest toe.
  4. Put your full weight on your foot and draw a line along the book in front of the longest toe.
  5. Measure the distance between the wall and the line/book.
  6. Measure your other foot as well. Your feet do not have to be the same.

Don’t forget to add an additional 0.5 - 1.2 cm  to give your feet the natural space they need in shoes. In healthy shoes, the foot works naturally and dynamically.
